IM23 is a bookcase with a murphy bed sofa for the living room, paired with a wall composition consisting of a long storage unit with a swivel table-desk, a wall-mounted cabinet, and a shelving unit with an open compartment. Designed to furnish a shared studio apartment, a compact open-plan living space, or a room combining both the living and sleeping areas, it is highly customisable in terms of measurements, finishes, colours, and accessories.
The focal point of the composition is Uniko Sofa, a vertical double Murphy bed with a sofa built into the fold-down transformation system. Easy to open and close, the bed base accommodates a 160 x 200 cm mattress concealed behind a movable front panel, whose movement is controlled by an assisted lowering mechanism that gently guides the bed down to the floor. There is no need to move the sofa to release the bed frame, as the synchronised opening system automatically folds the backrest as the bed is lowered. For even greater ease of use, an optional motorised opening system operated by a push-button control is available. The front panel is topped by a practical shelf, providing additional surface space. Also available as a self-supporting unit, Uniko Sofa is integrated into a striking wall bookcase featuring boiserie panels with shelves and a side column with a glass door, designed to be used as an elegant display cabinet. Positioned in front is a floor-standing storage unit with a partially swivel top that can be used as either a table or a desk. The top can be rotated when needed and repositioned against the wall when not in use, freeing up valuable floor space. The wall composition is completed by a suspended cabinet and an open shelving unit, which elegantly and practically frame a wall-mounted TV.
