Arranged along two adjacent walls to make the most of a corner, IM30 is built around Oryx, a convertible furnishing unit presented here in the two versions Oryx Scrittoio and Oryx UP. Oryx Scrittoio is a horizontal single Murphy bed with an easy and safe fold-down opening mechanism: simply release the front panel and guide the bed base into a position parallel to the wall to have a ready-to-use single bed with a mattress. During the lowering process, the integrated desk remains parallel to the floor. This is a detail that allows objects placed on the surface to remain in position without needing to be removed. A wall bed and desk in one, this unit makes it possible to create both a sleeping area and a study corner within the same room, despite the limited space.
This composition is completed by Oryx UP, a fold-down bed with two single bunk beds, which can be opened individually or together. The unit features a front bench with removable cushions that remains in place when the bed bases are lowered.
