Oryx Up is a Murphy bunk bed with horizontal opening, a multifunctional unit that allows you to create an integrated sleeping area thanks to its practical and safe patented opening mechanism. Designed for compact apartments, home offices, open-plan spaces, or small studio apartments, it is a smart, space-saving solution.
Integrated into modular systems with wardrobes, equipped wall units or bookcases, Oryx Up accommodates two single beds that can be opened and used independently. They feature a safe slow-release mechanism that prevents any abrupt or accidental movement of the front panels. The two bed bases are designed to accommodate a 90×200 cm single mattress, with a maximum load capacity of 100 kg per bed base.
The added value of this wall bed lies in its customisation options. The lower front panel can be fitted with a comfortable bench with upholstered cushions or, alternatively, a practical 47 cm-deep desk available in melamine or lacquered finishes. This makes it possible to effectively furnish shared teenagers’ bedrooms requiring a sleeping area, relaxation space, and study area integrated into a single furniture unit. A wide range of optional features further enhances the versatility of Oryx Up, including side-mounted LED lights, power outlets, and practical safety rails for both the upper and lower bed bases.
